A picture speaks a thousand words, a person tells endless stories and experiences. Like a person, every business has a unique story to tell and we have a little story for you too!
We are a pair of sisters, eldest and the youngest who started out Granny Doris as a tribute to our beloved mom, Doris. We noticed that she enjoyed looking at the colourful fruits in the fridge. She was a health-conscious person; therefore, her fridge was always filled with fruits. Unfortunately, a genetic cancer took her away from us back in 2013. Hence, we quitted our corporate jobs just to step into this whole new business to remember our beloved mother. She once said that the colours of the fruits reminded her the beautiful colours of the rainbow. Our tagline “Taste like Rainbow” springs out from this wonderful memory of our mom.
Our company name, “Granny Doris” and logo is designed to remember our mom and the little fruity bucket hat! A rainbow appearing in the sky signifies Joy, Love and Happiness which lasts for a long time.
