Shipping policy

This website is owned by Granny Doris Group Sdn Bhd. The term ‘Granny Doris’ or ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers to the owner of the website which is Granny Doris. By completing your orders, you are consenting to be bound by our terms and conditions contained in these terms and conditions and appearing anywhere on the Granny Doris site.

  • Your order will be delivered to the address specified by you on the completed order form. Please note that Granny Doris’s delivery service is available in selected areas only. To check whether we offer delivery to your area, kindly enter the postal code on the checking button before checkout. Granny Doris will deliver your order to the main entrance of the delivery address provided on the completed order form and may only carry your order into the delivery address or enclosed area / compound at the delivery address provided that you give Granny Doris personnel your consent, there is no obstruction of access and/or the said Granny Doris personnel believes it to be safe and reasonable to do so. This includes any house, office building, condominium, apartment, office area and particular floor and unit of the said office building, condominium and apartment. Upon acceptance of the products, you are the owner of the products and all risk in the products shall pass to you upon completed delivery.
  • We do not provide specific time deliveries, this is to maintain fairness to all of our customers, and in order to maintain the efficiency in our operations.
  • We require buyers to provide us with the receiver’s contact number in order to contact him/her for the collection of delivery. If by any chance that our dispatcher could not locate the receiver after several attempts, Granny Doris and our collaborative dispatchers will not be liable for the failed delivery. Buyers are also responsible to let us know that we should not contact the receiver through our customer service platforms.
  • Buyers are required to notify us the timing that the receiver is not around or will leave the area in order for us to specify a remark to our dispatchers albeit the remark is not a guarantee or promise that the product(s) will reach at that particular/specific time slot. It is only a reference. We will only allow such order remarks for urgent matter. Casual requests (I.E.: Preferences of time slot) will not be entertained. Granny Doris does not have time request available due to small range of dispatchers available. This is because Granny Doris and collaborative dispatchers are unable to cater to large requests at a particular hour. At the same time, we are prioritizing fairness among all our customers. Your understanding is required.
  • After an order is placed, you may amend or exchange your order at a higher price within 3 working days on placing your order or before your scheduled delivery date. However, please be advised to double check your items before finalizing your order.
  • Any changes of particular (e.g. receiver’s contact, address, messages, etc) must be make within 6 hours in advance or the day before.
  • We will do our best to make sure that the receiver will receive the delivery on his/her own. However, we will not be able to do that if there is any restrictions by the receptionist or security guard of the building or neighborhood.
  • We do not guarantee the delivery to be on time. This is especially in the events of peak seasons, severe weather and natural disaster such as heavy storm, or flood.
  • We will not take responsibility for the late delivery due to adverse weather conditions, incomplete or incorrect delivery addresses, and any other causes beyond our reasonable control.
  • Special occasions (e.g. CNY, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and other special dates where fruits and flowers traditionally are in high demand, please place your order at least 7 working days in advance to ensure the availability of stocks, and also to secure your delivery slot as we might early cut off at anytime if order full.
  • Granny Doris fruit and flower products are highly perishable items. There will be no returns acceptable. Returns will only be made if is wrong product or damaged during the delivery process. Receivers and/or senders are advised to inform us immediately (within 2-3 hours of receive) to ensure fairness in judgement that the item are in bad condition during receiving. Granny Doris will not entertain any complaints made 3 hours after receiving as it is unreasonable to judge from the condition.
  • Orders containing alcohol (wine/champagne/beer). Malaysia law states that the legal drinking age is above 21 years old. Kindly ensure a person to be 21 years and above with appropriate identification is present to receive the delivery of the item(s). Granny Doris reserves the right to not deliver any age-restricted product(s) to anyone who is, or appears to be under, the age of 21 years old. You agree that if any applicable legal requirements for the delivery of item(s) are not met, Granny Doris reserves the right to cancel the alcohol-related portion of your order.
  • Orders are delivered once. If the recipient is not at home/office or refuse to accept the item and returned to Granny Doris, we will notify the sender/recipient to self pick-up from Granny Doris. Sender are responsible to bear any delivery cost for second delivery attempt.
  • We are not responsible for any order where the recipient refuses to accept the item. We will not issue refunds to any customer where the recipient, for whatever reason, will not accept the item or refuses delivery.
  • Our delivery service covers Kuala Lumpur and Selangor selected areas only. We do not deliver any fresh products to other state at this moment. This is to ensure the fruits/flowers we delivered is at it’s best conditions.
  • Our delivery discount (max. cap RM16) for order over RM100 is mainly for delivery fee discount and it's not to be deducted from the product price. For Self Pick-Up orders do not need to pay delivery fee as just select the "self pick-up" button before checkout.
